Course Description

Below are some ideas to help you keep engaged in math while school is closed.

Khan Academy   -  Select any topic to keep your skills up that you have already learned

Quizizz  -  Select a topic that you would like to practice.

YouTube   -  Type in a topic (mean/median/mode, adding fractions, solving two step equations, etc) and watch how a different teacher explains the topics we have already covered this year.  They won't teach it as well as me :) but it will help you to remember topics we have covered before.

APlusMath  -  We've used the flashcards, and continuing to practice them everyday will help you to remember them.  In addition to the flashcards, you can create worksheets for yourself to practice, play math games, and more.

Cool Math Number Games  -  This site has neat little games that you should try without using a calculator.  It will improve your mental math skills for adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.

Free Math worksheets  -  This website allows you to choose what topic you would like to review, and you can make yourself practice worksheets on material you learned earlier this year.

YouTube - Math at Work  -  These videos show how Math is incorporated into different professions and real world scenarios

YouTube - Math in the Real World  -  These videos show you how math is used everyday in the real world

Ted Talks Math  -  If you've never seen Ted Talks, you don't know what you're missing.  Presenters explain why and how Math is important to all of us.
