Class of 2024 Letters of Recommendation

I am more than willing to write letters of recommendation for former or current students. In order to expedite this process, please:
  1. Send me a request via e-mail to [email protected]. Include the intended purpose for the letter (college application, scholarship, Project Dreams portfolio, etc.) as well as specific instructions regarding to whom the letter should be addressed or if it should be a general "To whom it may concern" type of letter.
  2. If you are applying via the Common Application and would like to request a letter, please just give me a heads-up first before including my e-mail in your application. Then please also follow step no. 3 below.
  3. Include a list of your extracurricular activities as well as any additional information you have regarding your intended major, etc. If you are requesting the letter for a scholarship, please provide me with the name of the scholarship and the organization that is sponsoring it as well as any details you have about the award. This will help me to better tailor my letter to suit the intended purpose and audience.
  4. Please provide me with the date by which you need your letter. I respectfully ask that you give me no less than three weeks notice when requesting a letter. I will do my best to turn around requests as soon as possible, but I may need the full three weeks in order to compete your request. That being said, please don't hesitate to remind me if those three weeks are up and you still have not heard back from me.
  5. Unless you instruct me otherwise, I will upload the letter to Naviance so it can be sent out electronically with your completed application packet. If the letter is for the Common Application I will take care of uploading it to the website. You should receive some sort of confirmation that I have done so.
Best of luck as you begin this exciting time!
