A Parent or Guardian is to notify the MASH Attendance Secretary the morning of a student’s absence prior to 9 am.  This can be done by emailing the Attendance Secretary at [email protected] or by calling the Attendance Secretary at 717-691-4542.

Please include your student’s first and last name, the date(s) of absence(s), and the reason for the absence(s).

If calling, a written note must be received within 3 days of the student’s absence to deem the absence “Excused”.  Again, an email can serve as a “written note”, as well as the Standard Excuse Blank available under the Attendance Form Link on this page or a hand written note from home.

Any student who is absent from school for five or more consecutive days is required to submit a doctor’s excuse to confirm the illness.

Please Note: Absence due to driver’s test will be deemed unexcused.
