When student crossing coverage was needed, Cody stepped in without hesitation ... even in the pouring rain and without an umbrella. His response was simple: he saw a need and filled it.

It may seem like a small moment, but it reflects something bigger: showing up, being dependable, and doing what’s needed to support students and staff. This is the #APlife!

🌟 BEST & BRIGHTEST // Congratulations to MASH senior William Coffman on being named one of PennLive's Best & Brightest students for the Class of 2026. 🎓

A dedicated student, musician, volunteer, mentor, and community leader, William has made a lasting impact both inside and outside the classroom. This fall, he plans to attend Penn State Harrisburg's accelerated dual-degree program in finance and business administration. Will says MASH band director and music teacher Benjamin Goldsborough has been a mentor throughout his academic and musical career.

📚 ¡CUENTOS Y CONEXIONES! (“Stories and Connections”) // MASH Spanish IV Honors students took a walk down the hill to Broad Street Elementary today, where they shared original children’s stories with first graders. 💛

As part of their culminating project, students created culturally-based storybooks inspired by the Spanish-speaking world, covering everything from festivals and famous places to mysteries and traditions. Through expressive storytelling, illustrations, and interactive Spanish words, our high school Wildcats helped bring language and culture to life for their younger audience.

It was a fun and meaningful experience for everyone involved, and a great reminder that learning is even more powerful when it’s shared. 🌎📖

🧦 HEY DUSTIN, YOU KNOCKED OUR SOCKS OFF // Flashback to MASH spring musical season ... when a sound system issue threatened to delay one of the season’s performances just minutes before curtain, Dustin Smith, Technology Support, jumped into action.

With the help of others from the team, Dustin quickly rigged the marching band sound system to the auditorium sound board, saving the performance and helping the show go on. 🎭🎶

Thank you, Dustin, for staying calm under pressure, thinking creatively, and doing whatever it took to support our students and staff. Your quick thinking had huge impact. 💛

🌍💬 WORDS THAT OPEN WORLDS // Recently, our World Languages Department celebrated its annual World Languages National Honor Society Induction Ceremony, recognizing Wildcats from our French, German, and Spanish programs for their hard work, dedication, and passion for language learning.

Through their studies, these students have grown not only as language learners, but also as thoughtful and compassionate global citizens ready to connect with the world around them. Congratulations to all of our inductees on this well-earned accomplishment.

Artistic Expressions showcases outstanding student artwork from secondary schools across Central Pennsylvania, bringing together young artists with a passion for creativity, collaboration, and the fine arts. 🎨✋ STRONGER TOGETHER // MASH students recently came together to celebrate the many cultures, backgrounds, experiences, and traditions that make our school community so special.

As part of the annual Cultural Heritage Day celebration, students collaborated on a colorful handprint mural that will proudly brighten the halls of MASH for years to come. More than just artwork, the mural serves as a lasting reminder of connection, belonging, and the value of learning from one another. 💛

🎓 SHE'S A JUNIOR LEADERSHIP CUMBERLAND GRAD // We're proud to celebrate MASH's Gabriella Kerchner on her successful completion of the Junior Leadership Cumberland program.

Throughout this experience, Gabriella demonstrated a strong commitment to personal growth and leadership development. She embraced opportunities to learn more about herself, build new skills, and gain valuable insight that will guide her in the years ahead.
