Due:
Launch an interactive demo of the online exam so you know exactly what to expect on exam day. (https://ap2020examdemo.collegeboard.org/)
About the AP Exam Demo
The demo replicates a two-question exam (some of this year's AP Exams have one question, and some have two).
After the demo is over, you can come back here and launch it again. Practice as many times as you like—the experience can help you decide which way to submit your work on exam day.
How to Use the Demo
You should use the demo on the device you think you'll take the exam on, so you can identify any technical problems with your device and browser before exam day. If you have more than one device, you may want to use the demo on each one to see which you prefer to use for the exam.
Do not refresh the page or press the back button during the demo. The same applies to the real exam.
Just like the real exam, the demo will ask you to enter some personal information—including your AP ID—while waiting for the exam to start. (You should have received your AP ID in an email from College Board. If you can't find your AP ID, sign in to MyAP to retrieve it or to update your email information.) After you fill out this information, you'll get to the screen for Question 1.
You won't see an actual exam question in the demo, but the timer will be running (don't worry, you'll have more time on exam day). You'll practice submitting an exam response before time expires. Then you'll be moved on to question 2.

Students - I've shared with you your first APHUG Review Progress Check. Please complete this form by Sunday, April 19, 11:59PM.
You will need to assess your participation from weeks 1 through 3 by indicating High, Some, or None for each learning opportunity. I will then provide my feedback. Also, answer the three questions on the document. This feedback will be shared with your parents/guardians by Tuesday of next week, and is purely meant to help you be successful on the AP Exam. There might be some activities from the last few weeks that you indicate 'None' for your participation. Please know that it's okay. You can certainly go back and complete any of these opportunities for your review. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

Due:
Your task is to read CH9, KI#1. AS you read, try to understand why development varies among countries. You will notice a common language referring to health, wealth, and access to knowledge. The key issue uses decent standard of living, long and healthy life, and access to knowledge as general categories to explain how development varies around the world. Remember learning this in the early fall? I love this part of human geography and I hope you do too.
Once you read CH9, KI1, you will then complete the two posters. You will need to use the UNDP website below to find almost all of the stats on the poster. Each YLP country should be devoted to a poster. Keep the length of each poster to exactly one page, with your name at the bottom. Again, use the UNDP link below (find your country, and search through the categories such as Health to find these numbers. Many of the stats you are finding are described in the reading.
The CIA website is only to be used if you can't find certain data in the UNDP site. Use WorldFactbook, Economy Tab to find the percentages of people working in the economic sectors. Look for Labor Force by Occupation.
++++++BE sure you double-check that your information is correctly copied.+++++++
Print each document out (make sure each one is 1 page) for Monday's class.
