Some things never seem to change. Like water rolling down stream, the warmth of the first spring day, or the comfort of that friend who never gives up on you. But, most things change. Change is inevitable. Some change is good and for that we are thankful. While other change feels uncomfortable and might make you feel confused, sad or angry or a mix of these emotions.
As your school counselors, we are wondering how you are feeling and what you’re thinking about right now with the changes to your education, relationships and thoughts for the future. We’ve created some short activities that aim to help you take a look at the changes in your life, and how you might respond proactively to take care of yourself – to your thoughts, feelings, attitude and actions. Our hope is that these activities might both enlighten and empower you in dealing with change.
