BS: Mathematics; Computer Science Minor (University of South Alabama; 1997)
MS: Mathematics Education (Hofstra University; 1999)
MS: Mathematics Education (Hofstra University; 1999)
This school year will mark my 26th as a classroom instructor.
I am originally from Rhode Island. Teaching runs in the family as my parents are both retired teachers. My older sister is also a teacher (and married a teacher) as are several of my cousins. In addition, my wife is a mathematics instructor at Trinity High School.
I have always wanted a career in education and I enjoy getting to work with teenagers.
I enjoy trying to perform repairs on my cars (although I hope I don't ever have to), trying my hand at basic home improvement, and reading/studying the Italian language. I also enjoy preparing both famous and less well-known Italian dishes. My wife and I frequently make our own bread and macaroni by hand. I also enjoy teaching my children the language and the cuisine. I grow heirloom Italian tomatoes and Italian frying peppers as well. I have enjoyed gardening in a state with a climate like Pennsylvania's!
I am very excited to be a part of the team here and I am looking forward to getting to work with you this year.
