About Me
- The 2024-2025 school year marks my 19th year as a teacher and my 14th year at MASH. I started teaching in 1997 but stayed home with my children from 2003-2010. In addition to teaching, I serve as the English Department Coordinator (6-12) for the district.
- I have a BA in English from Shippensburg University and a Master's in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State.
- My husband and I have three children. My son, Jake, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in bioengineering and works for GSK in Philadelphia; my daughter, Emma, is a student at Penn State; and my son, Owen, is a senior.
- My dog, Abby, is the best dog in the world.
- When I'm not at school, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, and crochet.
- I love teaching and love coming to work every day.
