🔎 EXPLORING FUTURE PATHWAYS // Recently, some of our future-focused Wildcats at Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School stepped beyond the classroom to explore careers in both the military and legal fields.
Students connected with members of the PA Army National Guard to learn about field artillery roles, engineering support careers, and both college and non-college pathways. Another group attended a Law & Corrections career exploration event, speaking with state representatives, state troopers, attorneys, and law professors about careers in law and law enforcement.

🎭 CATCH OUR WILDCATS ON GOOD DAY PA // The spotlight extends beyond the stage this week as 11th grader Sydney Skopp (Dolly Levi) and 12th grader Leah Deavor (Production Team Leader) appear live on ABC27’s Good Day PA tomorrow, Friday, February 20, between 10–11 a.m. Tune in to see our Wildcats promote Hello, Dolly! and share their hard work with the community.

When our 9th grade boys basketball team needed a coach just before the season tipped off, Coach Steve Laudenslager didn’t hesitate. Coming out of “coaching retirement,” he stepped in to lead, support, and guide our student-athletes when they needed it most.

❄️ CLOSED // All Mechanicsburg Area School District schools will be CLOSED tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, 2026. This will be a traditional snow day with no makeup day needed.
Our Facilities Department and local municipalities did an amazing job today, as they worked tirelessly to clear roads, sidewalks, and parking lots throughout the district. Unfortunately, there are still a few trouble spots out there that we'll hopefully see cleared up tomorrow.
